Our Approach

The In-Facility program works like a consignment; we provide DVT pumps and sleeves to the surgery center to use on patients during surgery. A representative stocks, reorders, and manages the inventory levels of sleeves and DVT pumps at the facility.

Your facility will not pay for inventory, maintenance of equipment, or patient billing.  

A representative will set up a time to meet with the facility staff to determine the
number of DVT pumps and compression cuff inventory needed to support the procedure volumes and to help plan the service program implementation.  Hub will deliver the DVT pumps, cuffs and insurance billing forms and will be available on-location to train staff and assist with the program implementation. Our trained staff representative will visit your facility on routine or as-requested basis to perform the following service activities:

  • Staff in-service on SCD operation and cuff application
  • SCD and sleeve inventory management
  • Retrieval of claim forms (letter of medical necessity) and face sheets
  • Begin the billing process

We offer several different programs including SCD’s for in-facility use  and we also have take-home units available for patients to take home during recovery.  An assessment of your facility will be done to determine which program is best suited for your center.
